Origins - Festival of First Nations
Origins Family Day - (Sun 3 July, noon – 7pm, Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath)
A Sunday treat with music and activities for all the family; opening with a traditional Māori welcoming ceremony. You can play traditional games,
listen to storytellers, fly a Māori kite, meet a wallaby, and even walk away with a Ta Moko tattoo!.
Dance the afternoon away with music from leading Aboriginal didgeridoo player William Barton, New Zealand’s indigenous fusion trio Pacific Curls,
London’s own Māori kapa-haka group Ngāti Rānana, Beats of Polynesia and The Lani Singers from West Papua.
