an armed standoff between the people of Kanehsatake, the Quebec police and the Canadian army.
Winner of 18 major awards, this powerful documentary takes you right into the action of
an age-old First Nations struggle, and serves as a reminder that the issues raised at
Kanehsatake will not go away just because the barricades have come down.
