Click to enlarge photo for Inuit Knowledge and Climate Change (Canada 2010. Dir: Zacharias Kunuk & Ian Mauro. Inuktitut with English subtitles. 55 mins. "No cert.")

An unforgettable film from the multi-award winning Zacharias Kunuk (Atanarjuat The Fast Runner), and Dr. Ian Mauro (Seeds of Change), documenting the Inuit communities’ knowledge and experience of climate change and their deep intimacy with their environment. The film takes the viewer “on the land” with elders and hunters to explore Inuit culture and their expertise regarding environmental change and indigenous ways of adapting to it.

Followed by Q&A with Dr. Colin Samson – Human Right Centre, University of Essex.
